Roberta Freeman

Roberta Freeman worked at the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA in adolescent psychiatry for more than 30 years and is a board-certified clinical nurse specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing. As the clinical nurse specialist for UCLA’s Adolescent Eating Disorders Program, she assessed patients, facilitated admissions, assisted in treatment planning, and supervised nurses. Roberta has taught widely, presented at national conferences, and published research on eating disorders. She earned her RN from Michael Reese Hospital, her BSN from California State University–Dominguez Hills, and her Master’s degree and Clinical Nurse Specialist certification from California State University–Los Angeles.
